Everyone is going crazy over the 1st official trailer released by Christopher Nolan featuring the new Batman movie – ‘The Dark Knight Rises’. The 2:11 minute sneak peek doesn’t reveal a lot, but you can still grasp that they are going all out for the end of this awesome trilogy. Oh, andTom Hardyis going to make a bad-ass villain.
Tis’ the season to be giving. Especially for actors and celebrities, who without a doubt could spare the coin, like Tom Hardy.
If you’re not sure you’ve heard of Tom Hardy, he is an actor on his way to worldwide notability. Hardy has played mostly smaller roles in big pictures with such films as Layer Cake, RocknRolla, and Inception but has left an impression on the audience and critics. Tom is creating buzz currently, trying to raise emergency money for a cause that he takes personally.
Hardy has set up his own Just Giving page to appeal for donations on behalf of the charity FLACK.
In 2007, Tom played the role of Stuart Shorter in the deeply moving film Stuart: A Life Backwards, a true story of a homeless man from Cambridge whose life was chronicled in a book by author Alexander Masters. Through the film Tom learned about the challenges faced in the homeless community and has gone on to support the charity FLACK since it first started.
Every £2 donation will receive a personal thank you message from Tom and entry into a prize draw to win signed Tom Hardy goodies.
Check out Hardy as Bane in the newest Batman: “The Dark Knight Rises” movie this coming summer.
In perhaps his most riveting role, Tom portrays Britain’s most dangerous criminal, Michael Gordon Peterson, in the true story, “Bronson” (2009). It has been rumored that Hardy put on 40lbs of muscle mass to accurately depict the notorious inmate.
