Jay-Z’s tribute and pictures with daughter Blue Ivy

has been known as a lyrical rap genius for almost two decades but never has he poured out as much heart and soul as he has the last two days. Early in the morning on January 8,2012, Sean Carter and gave birth to their first daughter, .

Less than a day later the legendary ‘Jigga’ released a song he wrote to greet the new life into the world.  The song is no doubt a celebrated hip-hop beat with raw and meaningful lyrics which we haven’t noticed from Jay since the ‘Blueprint’. You can even notice his excitement, as he should be, and joy in his voice as he spits out the words.

Gut-wrenching and classic Jay-z style song lyrics to listen for:

“You’re the child of destiny / you’re the child of my destiny / you’re my child with the child from Destiny’s Child.”

“Last time the miscarriage was tragic / We was afraid you’d disappear but nah baby you’re magic.”

Sexy Celebrities Then and Now

If you have ever felt ugly or incompatible with what the mainstream media says we should all look like, don’t fret, some of the hottest women today were once ‘normal’ looking. 

Next time you are listening to your Creed CD, sipping on some Alize’ and having a trip down memory lane, don’t be afraid of showing off that atrocious yearbook photo. It is the look that inspired you to change your appearance with the help of numerous chemical peels, botox injections and tanning lotions. It made you the better person you are today.

The Worst Movies of 2011

With 2011 pretty much done, here is NewsFlask.com’s worst of the year. Leave a comment whether you agree or not, either way I’m sure we won’t see eye-to-eye. For the most part these are with actors that we love and respect, that every now and than have to be put in their place. With a simple phrase from our friend Keyshawn Johnson, ‘C’mon man!’, hopefully our Hollywood favorites will be kinder to us in 2012.

Green Lantern

5.  Green Lantern- is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood and proves it with the paydays he receives. Green Lantern, thought as a perfect fit for the “2 guys a girl and a pizza place” alumni, brought another huge payday for Reynolds, unfortunately it also brought huge disappointment.

Your Highness

4.  Your Highness- James Franco and Danny McBride, what else could a stoner want? That’s just it, unless you’re on shrooms or blitzed from smoking a nice fat cross joint, this movie will do nothing for you. The only bright side of the film for the THC untainted is the hotness of Natalie Portman in a thong!

Breaking Dawn part 1

3.  Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1- need we say more! Unless you are a preteen in love with the fact that you can conform to be like the boy you like, this movie is not for you.

Zookeeper

2.  Zookeeper- , no! Our favorite delivery man’s transition to the big screen has not been as easy as overnight delivery from FedEx. Yet he keeps on trying. Wasn’t Paul Blart enough?

Jack and Jill

1.  Jack and Jill- At one time was a generations comedic icon, now his legacy is being tainted by movies like this. For a guy who seems so down to earth and a fan favorite, we can only hope he starts listening to his following and reverts back to his old ways.

The Talented Justin Bieber

All the girls out there will love the News Flask staff acknowledging the talent of . We must concede our predetermined thoughts, and finally agree. Our reasoning? Well, while we agree with most adult males not giving a second thought towards a little boy pop star, the below shows a different side of the Bieb, and is proof positive that R&B star and music mogul, Usher, can see into the future of music. During a publicity tour, Bieber stops into the L.A based studio of Power 106 FM, and on queue starts free-styling. The shocking part, it’s actually decent.

Whether you think it was planned and the lyrics were written down, you still can’t deny that the kid has talent. And if he continues to impress, we may not be the only ones changing our opinion.
