“…she should have stuck to smoking ….and stayed away from the powder”

Tommy Chong, still supporting the legalize marijuana cause, believes in the relaxing habit as a healer and will never give up.

Paul McCartney on the cover of Rolling Stone Magazine

As today’s working generation dreams and strives for an early retirement, complaining of life’s blisters along the way, the great generations before, continue to prove their longevity and poise. At age 70 will grace the cover of on February 17th. The Hall of Fame icon should have been collecting his pension over five years ago but has given the middle ‘finger’ to age and continues to rock.

In 1992 when McCartney turned 50, mass media hounded him with questions of retirement and Paul has done everything but disappoint his fans, reaching out to a younger audience with the rebirth of old Beatle songs and great live tours for twenty more years.

Once again the questions arise. Obviously these people asking the questions didn’t watch his performance at the Grammy’s. How could you even ask such a question? Clearly the music world still needs a Beatle.

Paul tells Rolling Stone Magazine that he has no plans to retire from recording or touring.

“You get the argument ‘Make way for the young kids,’ ” he says. “And then you think, ‘Fuck that, let them make way for themselves.”
